Our dear Pedro went on to be with Jesus tonight. This video was taken just after he arrived at Casa de Fe and before the disease that ravaged his brain had done a lot of damage. This is the way I chose to remember this sweet soul until the day when I see him running and playing with Jesus as he is today. Please keep us in your prayers as it is a very difficult thing to bury a child. Pedro was a very special child to us and we will miss him dearly but it is a comfort to know he is now running and playing in heaven. Thank you for your prayers.

Breaking ground on the multi-use-building
God is faithful.
Then another message came to me from the Lord, "Zerubbabel is the one who laid the foundation of this Temple, and he will complete it. Then you will know the Lord of the Heaven's Armies has sent me. Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the Work begin, to see the plumb line in Zerubbabel's hand."

Nayeli
This is Nayeli.
Nayeli is from Conambo in the Eastern Rain Forest of Southern Ecuador. Nayeli came to live at Casa de Fe on Monday but we took her almost strait to the Mission Hospital. She spent 4 days getting over a light case of pneumonia, for most of my children this would not have put them in the hospital but Nayeli has a sever heart problem. In her x-ray her heart is very, very enlarged. Sunday we will be taking 2 year old Nayeli to Quito to see a Pediatric Cardiologist on Monday. Please pray for Nayeli, the doctors and please pray for open doors. Nayeli will need open heart surgery. Her doctor will be Patricia Cortez, this is the same doctor who diagnosed Mishell and I am looking forward to working with her again.
We will also be taking Cintia and Rosa to the audiologist. Please pray for our travel and getting around in Quito.

Rosa had hip surgery on Monday (21 January) She did really well. Her right hip is now in place and should be in a good position to help her to start standing up and learning to walk. She was released on Wednesday and we are headed back to Shell today (Thursday). She will have this rather large cast on for 6 weeks and then Dr.Wolff who God so conveniently put in Shell recently will remove this cast and replace it with shorter leg casts to help to straighten her feet. Rosa has been a real trooper and I am sure will be spoiled rotten by the Tia's when we return to Shell.
